My wife and I had the buffet breakfast and it was fabulous, but what impressed us the most was how incredibly friendly, kind and professional the staff are. These kind souls are on top of it. We had a great time. Thank you Pavilion dining staff. We will be back.

The service is excellent from the front desk to the housekeeping and the staff at The Courtyard. A special mention to the chef who worked relentlessly at the prata station to serve our customised requests. Special thanks also goes to Ary for her wonderful service during our breakfast. She was very proactive. Overall, we had a good experience. Thank you :)

Awful stay disorganised from start to finish

We have stayed in many hotels in KL as we travel here 3-4 times per year and I can say categorically that this doesn’t deserve the banyan tree name as the cleanliness of the rooms and service doesn’t live up to it’s supposed 5 star rating. After being given a room overlooking a live band that they had layed on for a guest, which was deafening, we were moved to another room which frankly was dirty. We booked three rooms as a family and our children were put on a different floor because the hotel was fully booked. They also couldn’t confirm that the rooms were pre paid so they took a deposit off of my card for the cost of them until they could confirm. First day at breakfast I asked for an omelette, which seemed too much trouble for the omelette chef to cook but before he did he spat what he was eating out into his hand and proceeded to cook my omelette without washing his hands. It took over an hour to check out as they could get the bill correct and had 7 or 8 attempts both at the exec lounge and subsequently o. The 8th floor check in desk as well. I very rarely write scathing reviews because things genuinely go wrong from time to time but this was a consistent comedy of errors. The one plus point is that the concierge seemed to be switched on and he seemed to have a good deal of common sense. Try the four seasons for great service, The Banyan Tree for this location or The majestic if your after a quality 5 star hotel on a budget and don’t mind using grab to travel.

Stayed here for a short stay while on a business trip. Definitely the best decision i made, as the price is very compatible with other similar locations but this hotel has checked all the boxes when it comes to the quality of the product and service. We were warmly welcomed by the bell team, Yufrizal (tall gentlemen, sorry if i dont get his name correctly) and the duty manager, Bryan, assisted with our smooth check in process despite the last minute booking arrangement we made. The room on the 15th floor was perfect, we were enjoying the world class Banyan Tree amenities in the room as well as the bathroom. I would only recommend to replace plastic material and cover from its bathroom amenities. We had evening cocktails and breakfast at the club lounge, perfect for small-portion eaters like me and my wife with its special menu selections. The gym (technogym of course) was perfectly laid out and the swimming pool at the 18th floor was great too. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to KL. Thank you all team, we will definitely be back.

Highly recommended wedding venue / event space - stellar management and service!

Co-managed a close friend's wedding and must say the entire PVKL events team & service staff did a fantastic job coordinating behind the scenes - outperforming a few of the other 5-star hotels in town I've experienced working with. We didn't have any professional event planners on board but the PVKL team took care of every detail, working closely with our 2-man managing team to make sure everything ran right on schedule. Special shoutouts to the all-star team: Events manager Christina Loow, banquet manager Ukasyah Harithz Sori, supervisor Raj, Chef Marco Leong, Azizi Zain, Hakim, Effa, Justin and many others who made the special day all the more special. From the setup of the morning tea ceremony to outdoor reception to dinner at the ballroom, the team ensured they were at our beck and call, never hesitating to go the extra mile. The most impressive segment came in the evening, where the kitchen and the front-of-house timed the service of each dish perfectly in between the agenda of speeches and videos. The 9-course dinner served by the Jade Pavillion was tasty and seafood was fresh - receiving many compliments from guests. Chef Leong made note of all comments from the taste-test & re-executed well. The only areas for improvement I noted were some of the stains on the outdoor ceremony seat covers (white covers are notoriously difficult to maintain) as well as the leather chairs with slightly odd embroidery (perhaps some custom chair covers / reupholstery would help) during dinner at the head table. Nevertheless, these were happily overlooked in the presence of top notch service and great quality overall. Highly recommend PVKL and team to all seeking a venue for their special occasions!
